Before any of that, he spent years as a cruise director on Holland America, responsible for the full guest experience across dozens of countries and thousands of people, with ports that changed every 48 hours, earning the highest guest satisfaction scores in the fleet. That's where he learned the rule he still builds by: if the system doesn't serve the people using it, it doesn't work.
